Stinky AC

Every time I turn on the AC an awful smells starts coming out, almost kind of humid smell mix with garbage... Almost. I changed my cabin filter and sprayed the ducts with Lysol, but didn't fix it.

Anybody has any advice?

I had an issue of my AC smelling like moisture, a slight mold smell. I had the AC professionally sanitized, and it hasn't come back.

I have the same issue... So far I have to live with it. Can't figure it out.

Smells a bit like vinegar on startup yes? Both my now totaled 2009 and my dads 2007 have the same issue - If i run the fan with no AC for a minute before I turn on the cold it seems to minimize it.
