OCC
I just purchased a BMS OCC and its on the way!!
But my car has done almost 70k miles, so is there anything that I should? Cus from what I read, oil will go into intakes, intercooler? Or shall I just leave it as I will be putting on ETS FMIC and CP-E DP when I install the OCC Thanks for any advice given B |

Intake valve cleaning is a must if you've gone 70K without one, I would put that #1 on my priority list. Leave your FMIC alone, just wait for the ETS install.

I have been looking at intake valve cleaning threads too as I think it would be time for me to do it. Shall I just take it to the dealer or any workshop can get it done for me?
I think i better do that as I plan to keep my car until the new m3 comes out! hopefully.. |

A dealer price for valve cleaning is more than likely going to be very expensive. I would definitely recommend you find a shop than can do it. In the states at an independent shop valve cleaning is approximately $500 USD. So thats about $3,881.82 HKD.

Replace the factory PCV valve at the same time you install the OCC. Also, i would suggest hitting up Rob Beck for one of his "upgraded" PCV valves that replaces the factory valve in the valvecover. Look @ one of the "other Forums" for more information or shoot me a PM and i can explain.

Walnut blast those intake valves + get a start fresh. Get the OCC + FMIC installed together (or the OCC right before the FMIC goes in). Once your OEM FMIC is out, you can clean it w/ acetone + box it up.
