Had my cars silver window trim vinyl wrapped yesterday at Car X Australia in Clayton. I am very happy with the result. I had it wrapped in Gloss black some pics below.

maybe the wheels but not the car, i like the SG! I would want a gloss though.. I have to take it to approved BMW repairer or they wont cover the claim. I'v got Superfinish and Mr Gloss. I went to Mr Gloss but i wasn't that impressed with their level of service.

good luck with the repair then
btw, i found that it is easy to get chips on the painted wheel, so wrap it could be a good idea

keen to spray my wheels, but i read you can cause issues by added extra weight to the wheels or making the weight uneven? any truth to that, i wouldn't think plastidip would weigh that much.

I assume you will remove the tyre first and then paint/coat then put tyre back on. In that case I would always balance the wheel and a wheel align just to be sure

I have no idea. I just figured that plastidip is a cool idea to give my ride a new look

I also got my car done at car x last week I got gloss black csl's, gloss grills and gloss black exhaust tips but Opted for matte black window trim. He showed me gloss black and it looked cheap IMO. Seeing it on your car though looks awesome!
