Procede CEL indicator

I remember reading it somewhere, but can't find it in the current documentation.

My CEL/MIL light flashed 5 times and meth injection turned off. Anyone know what this procede code is?

Mine flashed three times the other night.......but I think that was for a meth overflow indicator.

It would be nice if someone from vishnu posted up what the blinkies mean!

It means meth flow seen by the procede is far more (certain %, forget what it is) than the injection mode, OR that you put in an injection mode BEFORE setting methanol mode to active (1) in the user adjustables.

Yeah that too. In either case, it would register a flow "much" beyond what you designated it to be.

I simply increased my meth injection mode value about 5 points and it went away.

But no one has mentioned what 3 flashing CEL lights means.

Doing shivs job:

Procede Fault List
# of SES light flashes
1= Leanrun fault
2= Overboost fault
3= Wastegate overDC fault
4= Fuel pressure fault
5= Methanol Overflow/Leak
6= VIN mismatch
7= Map/Firmware incompatibility

The scenarios in which some of these faults are triggered have changed since original implementation. Leanrun used to trigger at ~14AFR as an example, and recently I beleive vishnu increased this to closer to 20AFR.

mine flashed 6 times tonight ?? Which according to ^ equates to vin mismatch which i don't get because mine was suppose to be brand new.. unless that list is incorrect lol

Thank-you Tzu.

Unfortunately I suspect that list has perhaps been updated.

As I mentioned earlier, I had three flashing lights for two runs and on the third run I increased my meth injection percentage via the user adustables and the problem has never reappeared.

Looks like I may have triggered the overflow warning by having my injection percentage too low

Once again...it would be nice if someone from Vishnu verified what the little flashies really mean.

Likely. The only fault I've received was overflow. Did you happen to log the event prior to the procede 3 flash fault?

Yes I was pulling logs at the time.

I installed a new pump since my old one was progressively losing flow. The old one was down to a flow value of 23 whereas brand new it flowed at 33.

So I had my injection value set to 19 to compensate the lower flow.

You can see that the new pump started the run with flow at 27 and then suddenly shot up to 40

That's when the limp mode happened.

Replicated results on a second run and then tried increasing the injection value to about 33 and haven't been able to repllicate the issue since.

So I think it worked.

What's really odd is that the new pump flowed at 40 for a few runs and seems to have now settled down to 33.....just like the old pump.

Wondering about that

Definately an overflow condition. Are you absolutely sure you saw 3 blinks and not 5? I've triggered overflow a few times.

On your flow variance, looks like its reacting to RPM and boost as it should (assuming this was a full gear pull). Did you alter the Injector DC map at all? Actually, didnt shiv say the "new" pumps with the compression fittings had a higher flowing head? Something like 250psi line pressure instead of 200 or something like that?
