Lowest. 0-60 time with jb4?

I know this question is subjective and depends on the driver but what is the lowest 0-60 time you guys have got your car to with just jb4 mod alone set at any map?

For a 335i: I would bet that 95% get worse times than what the magazine's post for a stock car. The increased torque causes excess wheel spin for most. Pair it with an LSD, good tires with a good driver and 3.X second passes are attainable.

With a 335xi, just a tune would get you in the 4.0-4.3 second range based on what I've seen here.

From 0-60? It's a driver's race. The higher the speed, the advantage goes to the tuned 335.

Good point. I have no idea why the magazine's still use this as a benchmark.

If you have an AT car its pretty hard to make a mistake even if you suck at driving lol. Just push the traction button one time (DTC), hold the brake and the gas until the car barely starts to inch forward, and as soon as your ready to go, let off the brake and hold on tune only you will be easily under 4.4 seconds faster than M3 0-60

Physiologically, I think it's more of a "how fast can I get away from this stoplight?" number. No?

Racing in town when cars weren't so dam fast that was where alot of 4 cylinders became famous in small towns on the east coast. Light to light racing was the weekend life for alot of people with some down town strips you could get 6 runs in with the same car in a few minutes if nobody else was in front of you. 0-60 is still as close as a 60 foot test as the magazines can get too. Before 0-60 in the 80's the test was 0-50. Beleive it or not this is a big determining factor of why alot of cars would do just over 60 in 2nd gear by not having that extra shift you could get a few tenths quicker on that benchmark.

stock = 5.10
jb3+ dci + 94oct = 4.02
jb3 +fbo + ms109 = 3.58

all test with 12" rollout (like magazine)

not test with jb4 and meth...

I tried a 0-60 run on Map 1 only once (tune only - no meth). Sorry I'm not otherwise stock and so I don't have that info - I also have dp's and dci and and LSD and 19' street tires. It was lightly drizzling outside and I did 3.9 seconds on the V-Box.

with the new firmware and a 50/50 blend of e85 and 93 octane i made this run tonight. my only supporting mods other than jb4 are dci and downpipes. if i hadn't broken traction i think it would be sub 3.5. i had traction control in the middle position.
