Thumbs up I just got Version 26 today...

If you saw my loaner review, you know I dropped off my car today to get NAV updated.

Got a call from BMW service manager just now, said I got version 26. He said I'm the first one to get it (at my dealership)..

Sounds great, hope it works well. Will try to post pictures tonight.

I'm excited, but I hope there aren't any bugs or anything like that.. Hope they figured it all out..

Josh

Very impressed with BMW of Peabody service, btw.. Called to let me know the software was up to date, they fixed some problem areas that might have been causing some rattles we talked about, tightened the handles, etc.

I don't know what I had. I had version "old". It was the original version that came with my car when it was built in Munich.. (took delivery March 06)

cool, why did you bring your car in? You had issue with your Nav? Otherwise, they will charge you just to get the update for 26.

My software version is 23. Now I want 26 (skip 25) just for the heck of it but I dont want to pay.

you can get it free if you have a problem with Idrive.
there is a number of SIBs about this.
Just mention slow idrive or arrow display problem and they will do it for free.
Do a search on this topic and you will get more details.

Yep. I was having a lot of these types of problems. Got it updated under warranty. Have been putting it off, and putting it off. The difference between what's on there now and what it was is night and day. I'm very glad I finally brought it in..

(Before this, I had whatever version came with my car built 2-3/2006)
