Never heard of anyone trying this, but I can't see any reason it wouldn't work. Not sure how much benefit you would get, but take a log if you try it

Isn't E85 already ~100 octane? If so, you wouldn't get any octane benefit from it.

The plan is to mix E85 with 91/93 etc. to bring it up.

I ran a 12.3 on 13 psi due to jb4 issue, but anyway
I mixed 3gal of 93 and 3gal e85 when I got to the track I put in 3gal of 110
I wasn't sure what e85 did octane wise at the time, put in 110 just to be same.
Car ran great and I didn't need a fire suit

Isn't 110 leaded? I always thought we werent supposed to use leaded gas in N54's. I know it does damage to o2 sensors and stuff, but any other reason why we shouldnt use it? I've always used 100.

i think 110 every once in a while isn't too bad...
but still a bit reluctant about the 50:50 mix of 100 : E85
