BMW style M270 (M3 winter setup) on F10/F11

Hi all

Does anybody know if the M270 M3 18" winter wheels will fit the F10/F11?

My father is getting an M550d Touring and I'm selling my wheels from my car (E90). I did some research about the ET and the M434 that comes with the car has ET33 up front and 44 rear. M270 only has ET20... The tires have to go anyway so which dimension for new tires should be used? Will the wheels clear the breaks/struts and avoid a fender roll?

Thank you so much in advance!

OEM 18x8 F10/11 wheels has ET30 and 245/45/18, and they fits the 550i, so I guess OEM 18x8 fits the M550xd too.
So the 270M will sit 10mm more out than F10 18" wheels.

yep
My biggest worry though is if the breaks are the same or not on the M550d as the 550... I also compared the M270 with the 434 on E90posts calculator and according to that the 270s would extend 7 mm in the rear and 11 mm up front (shouldn't have to worry about fender rubbing right..?)

I also tried some different diameters and the new dimension would be 235/50 R18 rear, which cause 1.965% difference. However, using the same diameter up front would cause a 2.47% difference...?

What to do...?!

Why 235/50/18 over 245/45/18?

now that's a good question..! The standard dimension of the width is 235 for the 270 on M3, searched realoem.com and found out that BMW is using 245/45 R18 on the winter setup for the M550d with 18"/8" wheels.

Conclusion:
270M will fit with 245/45 R18 wheels and stick out 11 mm more in the rear and 7 mm up front compared to the standard M434 setup!
