When your speaker wire goes from your head unit to the high level output of your amp to your speaker, do all the watts stack. For example, your head unit is 25 watts and your amp is 50 watts, does that mean the power to your speaker is 75 watts? Or is it only 50? If it is only 50, why is that?

Whatever comes out of the final stage is it.
If the amp channel that you connect to the speaker is 50 watts that's what you get. Which is why it is preferable to have preamp signals as Inputs for your amp.
Why because the A is not connected to your speaker.
And if you did connect A to the speaker there would be conflict
between the two channels feeding the speaker.
If you actually want to understand it you need to study how amplifiers work.

Amps put put volts not watts in reality. If you input more volts than that for which an amp was designed, the signal will be clipped, then amplified. THAT is bad stuff

Yes they put out volts but there rated in watts
which is a combination of current times volts.

mistaken. please study Ohm's Law, and call me in the morning. Volts multiplied by ampheres equals watts. OR Volts squared divided by ohms equals watts.

obviously, I'm dumbing it down a bit for you, but that's how we measure power, in watts, from an amplifier. it's also why we call it a power amplifier. Volts is just one measurement from an amplifier.

Voltage, Current, Resistance, and Power ALL exist simultaneously in ANY electrical circuit. One cannot have a circuit without all of them.
