Reset Brake Service Light?

So I recently swaped out my brake pads and sensors - but I can not reset the brake light - I tried the method where you hold down the odomotor button after the service light comes up and it doesnt reset.

I went to my local BMW stealrship and they said I need to 'calibrate' it and charge me $60 to do so.. Is that true?

Do you have bt cable? If so, that will take care of it.

wrong section and there are many threads about it in the brakes section.
Anyway if you broke the sensor you need to replace it otherwise you cannot reset it.
