U.S. pricing soon!

We should all know the pricing of the new 3 series in 24-48 hours. Keeping my fingers crossed that the price will be similar to the e46. Hoping to get into an e90 asap so will probably have to pay MSRP. Can't imagine I (or anybody else) will have much leverage to bargain on the price since demand will be so high for this car.

I intend to attempt to negotiate with my dealer on the grounds that my family has bought many BMWs in the past and we have been somewhat displeased with the service we received from on our most recent cars. Basically if they want to keep us as customers then they willl try and throw us a bit of a bone here and offer a little bit off of the top. Can't wait to get the pricing information so that I can solidfy my order in the next week or so.

That's less than a 10% increase over the last generation, no? Not bad. Seriously, is anyone going soon to negotiate/place an order?

But what about packages/options? That's what I've been waiting for all this while. Does anyone know what HIDs and DVD/Navi (& premium sound) with sport, premium, and cold weather will cost? Will it be the same as the 2005 or will all those options go up too?

Not so fast.

I just calculated that my recently purchased 05 325i was $4800 less than a 06 325i with similar options when the incentives are in place.

Was just on BMW webpage and it said the 325i MSRP was $30,300 so I guess that means the $30,995 price in the press release includes a $695 destnation charge.

What do u guyz think of the options pricing? I forgot how much each option on the e46 cost, these don't seem too outrageous?

Is that for a 325i or a 330i ? or both ? on older cars, bmw has different prices for the same options depending on which model it is

So far it only has the "build your own" option (which is where I found the prices) for a 325i. Nothing for the 330i yet.

You're key word is incentives

That's comparing apples to oranges. Everyone else is comparing MSRP to MSRP.

I shocked that the price bump was so little. When you factor in the standard options, this is almost a decrease in the price. Kudos to BMW for keeping prices in check despite the pathetic dollar
