F30 prices

I was wondering what you all paid for your F30's.
It'll be a good tool for buyers and we can gauge how much we got ripped off
Anyways, list out whatever packages you guys have, the city, and your price!

2012 328i-- Sport line, premium package, sports transmission
Atlanta
$41k driveout (so ~38,300 before 7% tax)

Did I get ripped off?

Thats an amazing deal. First i have seen. Your MSRP is $42,400 on bmwusa. Thats 4100 off or $4600 if you chose a metallic paint.

They probably got you on your trade in?

Yeap, that's exactly where they got me. Granted, my trade-in was a 150,000 mile Nissan Versa (base model with NO options..not even cruise control) worth about $2.5k.
They quoted me $43,000 driveout w/out the trade-in or $41,000 with it. I jumped on the deal and now I'm

So all told, I got about ~11% off MSRP. I have the black sapphire metallic.

Nice, you got a similar setup as me but with a 335i.

Do you know if the adaptive m suspension will still work with the H&R springs?

Yeh I asked that question before I ordered. These guys did it and they say it works perfect. the sport springs is not even an inch drop for the sport line so its nothing agressive.

before tax. I didn't think it was necessary to post tax since it varies by state and county but Tax is 6%

I went through BMW Fairfax because they were close to me and had a car in stock that I liked. Get a quote through USAA or truecar or something before you go in and bring it with you. I didn't have to fight at all for that price. Maybe could have done better on price but it was discounted enough to still be a good deal.

I've met good sales associates around here and bad ones. If you don't like whoever you're talking to, go to one of the other dozen or so dealerships around here.

Also, I don't let dealerships find the car for me and have it delivered from another dealer. I had a bad experience with that once (Audi, not BMW). Just figure out who has your car and buy it directly from them.

Make sure to ask about incentives -- USAA had a $1500 incentive for USAA insurance customers that got applied to my purchase price. There are others to be had too.

Wink 2012 BMW 335i Sport (Imperial Blue F30)

I ordered this one for a week 17 Germany build (unless my dealer lied to me, it should get built this week):

2012 BMW 335i Sport (F30)

Sport Line
Imperial Blue Metallic
Dakota Leather: Black w/ Red Stitch
Coral Red Accent Line
Brushed Aluminum Trim

Packages/Options Ordered:
2VF = M-Adaptive Sport Suspension Option (+900)
2LF = Variable Sport Steering (+300)
2TB = Sport Auto8 w/ Paddle Shifters <UpShifts @ under 200ms/ Down @ 100ms>(+500)
ZCW = Cold Weather Package (+1350)
ZPP = Premium Package (+1900)
ZPS = Premium Sound <H/K 9-speaker? 600w? w/ Sat & HD Radio> (+950)

Price = 4% off MSRP So around $2100 off

(Custom WA License Plate = MX335) ~Anyone who races Motocross will appreciate the mixup of that custom plate~
Also.... Does Anyone care to help me obsess about tracking the build & shipment? LOL!
Regards,
MXdirtMX

P.S. Does Anyone know if I can order the better looking iDrive knob that comes with the NAV? The non-Nav version of the iDrive knob/wheel looks hideous, but I always use my phone/google maps for Navigation, because it is way easier to speak my destination, than spend 15minutes "knobbin' it" in with iDrive... ...and for that privledge to cost me $2550, it just didnt make sense. I also get distracted by the heads up display and would probably end up turning it off... so I didnt see the value in buying the Tech Package (besides the better looking knob/button layout). So does anyone know if I can buy one at the dealer or aftermarket make any cool ones? If not, then at least tell me how to pry one off my buddies car, so I can switch with him without him knowing.... LoL!

Back when I was on the hunt I had a very positive experience going the car buying service route and pitting a couple dealerships against each other.

Best deal came from Peter Brizan at Passport BMW in Marlow Heights. Managed the whole thing via email. I didn't end up buying from him because I'd gotten too far into the process with another dealer, but he was great.
