EFI Logics
Just had car tuned at EFI Logics, here in CT. The guys were great. Josh, Chris and Pete, they were all super guys and professional. They accommodated my schedule and I was in and out. Nice facility.
The car? Holy shit, it is fast! Runs strong throughout the power band. I can't say enough about EFI, the tune and of course my car! Last edited by joed1; 04-07-2012 at 10:03 AM.. |

Nice #'s. I'll probably go there for a protune on my cobb. I hear nothing but good things about that place. They are very well known and respected in the subaru and evo community.

I wonder how much more power is expected from an FMIC? Lots of N54's are putting down 380rwhp with S2+ off-the-shelf maps... and you're only getting 322rwhp with S2? I know all dynos are different but that seems like a pretty big gap... can it all be attributed to a combination of stingy dyno and FMIC?? I feel like I'm missing something here...

Yeah, now that I think about it... I suppose if you give an extra 30rwhp for the mustang dyno, and then another 30rwhp for an FMIC, then you'd get to 380rwhp...

I think the highest gain i've ever seen posted from FMIC testing has been like 12-15rw and only with a LOT of air going through it. keep in mind, OP is AWD so he has a significant drivetrain loss as compared to RWD also. that probably accounts for the difference you're seeing!

AWD and the Mustang=heart breaker dyno. As was mentioned before, each dyno will read differently. That is why you can't focus on the max as much the change between baseline and the tune.
Quite happy with the car. |

I couldn't say enough about these guys. Not a Subie fan, but they had some really nice cars there.

Did they mention if they had protuned any FBO/Meth cars yet? Curious if the numbers will come close to current tuners. Chris/Josh aren't fans of me after I criticized their protuning of stock cars lol. glad you're happy with the car, subie/evo guys swear by EFI.

Oh i didnt mean my post as a criticism in any way. I've been hearing plenty of positive reviews since they've been trying to increase their work with our platform. I was just curious if they mentioned anything as I cant really ask them myself lol
