Features you'd like to see in the next generation 3 series.

I know this has been discussed before but it's been awhile. And maybe BMW is watching and will listen

I'd like to see the following features in the next generation 3-series. Otherwise, I'll probably end up with the next gen 5-series:

1 - Air conditioned seats

2 - Active Roll Stabilization and/or magnetic suspension

Seeing as how BMW is bringing over the 1-series, I think it's reasonable to expect BMW to offer more content for the 3 series to bring it up-market. Also, these features are starting to be found in other cars in the 3-series class.

-Air conditioned seats are #1 on my list. My back gets really sweaty while driving. I wish the seats were at least ventalated or with a fan, if not AC.

-LSD on their next performance 3 series (335i)

Really, I don't have any complaints about the cars. I really can't even think of anything more I really want in a ride besides just up and buying an M3. BMW is damn good, that's for sure.

For real, that and LSD are about it. I don't like the features they are adding now. Just more crap to break and have to pay for again later.

1. Rocket Launcher to blow all the idiots off the road!
2. Wings so i can fly above the traffic.
3. For it to be amphibious so i can drive through/on water.
4. In dash cocktail maker.
5. Autopilot so when i can't be assed or am too pissed i don't have to take a taxi home.
6. Invisible mode, so i can sneak up on people and blow their minds.
OK i think that's enough stupid suggestions for one post, i'll leave the rest for anyone else.

- M-Sport, M-Sport, M-Sport (from day 1, not later on only as "ZCP")
- LSD (as others have said already)
- DCT transmission
- anthracite head liner
- black window-trim (as a stand-alone option, not just on M-Sport)
- black interior trim
- CA sensors on all doors
- credit card-sized CA FOB
- more factory wheel options

optional w-16 engine with 4 turbos. granted this takes away from handling but will definitely increase the number of ferrari/lambo/m6/m5/xxxxx kill threads

Replaceable body panels so that I can change the colour to suit my mood. Or mix and match colours! You know, like the SMART car. (Did you know that SMART is the acronym for "Swatch Mercedes Art"?)

TiAg is a great colour, but not for every day. Some days are a Montego Blue day.

I agree totally re: the seats. That was the ONLY thing I liked better about the Lexus IS over my E92. In the winter, I barely need to use the heat due to the heated seats--I am guessing my use of the main A/C would also go down if my seats were A/C.

How about electronic tilt steering wheel. On a 40+k car I dont expect to be using a lever still.
