Complete noob question re: wheels
I'm entertaining the idea to use my current F30 415 wheels with Pirelli all season RFT tires as "winter" tires and getting higher performance tires for summer use. I'm in Dallas, so the idea of winter tires is a bit of silliness, but you get my drift.
I like the 220 wheels on the current E92 M3. Poked around on realoem and found: F30 401 wheels: 8x19 offset 36 front, 8.5x19 offset 47 rear E92 M3 220 wheels: 8.5x19 offset 29 front, 9.5x19 offset 23 rear Both have the 5-120 bolt pattern. I have no idea, at this point, how offset works. Offset from what, the center of the wheel? The inside edge? I seem to understand that spacers are available when you need more offset, but at this point, no clue. So, will the 220 wheels fit on my F30 328i Modern Line without body mods? Thanks for the clues! |

M3 wheels will not fit.
8.5 ET35 fits the front. IF 9.5 fit, which is not confirmed yet, offset would be roughly 45. you may be able to find some replicas with the correct offset however! Hope this helps!
