E93 Sat antenna on a sedan?

Wondering how easy it would be to change the fin out. I would rather have the smaller E93 antenna on my E90. I am assuming the hardware on the inside is the same and that you could buy just that part. Any insight would be appreciated.

It's not the same component-wise. Not swappable. Likely has different sized hold also.
