rear view mirror

My car is a E90 323. I just found that there is a card slot in the rear view mirror, may i know what card is it ? (seems my card is stolen).

One more, there is a red light for the anti-theft system in the rear view mirror. After my card being stolen, the light didnt flash anymore.

Any one have idea?

Many Many thanks.

If it flashes after lock that means you have the factory alarm installed. Maybe the thieves tampered with the alarm system somehow?

Usually the red blinker only illuminates if you have the alarm installed and the car is locked, I believe that there's no way to disable it once the alarm is in.

Well, have you checked it? Do you get the alarm chirp upon locking/unlocking from your fob?

Could it be that the car doesn't have an alarm, and someone modified it to blink all the time?
