320d Luxury on order
I'm one of hundreds of UK company car drivers who are going to be ordering 320d's. The car tax is much lower due to the emissions so I blew the savings on extras.
Went for Mineral Grey Luxury line in the end because I had to have the chromeline exterior trim. Anyone else the same!? Bit nervous about the anthracite wood trim though, but you don't seem to be able to spec aluminium etc with Luxury line. Anyway, here are the options I went for: Xenons / headlight wash Sports seats with memory & lumbar support Heated front seats Auto transmission Anthracite headlining Rear window blinds & rear windscreen elec blind Parking sensors front (& rear) Folding ext mirrors Premium sound (harmon kardon) Sooo excited!!! I thought you couldn't get a "Line" on the 320i? At least in Canada that's how it is. If you want a 320i, you can't get a Sports or Modern Line.
Anyway you got a good looking car there and best of luck! Must be excited eh? |

Yeah, UK allows you to spec Lines on 320i/d. They will sell loads of these engines here so I guess it makes sense to give buyers the choice. Shame you guys cannot do the same.
Ridiculously excited, thanks! |

Here are some pics of my car!
Sadly it will not be delivered until the lease on my current vehicle expires but the dealer very kindly sent me these pictures to tide me over until then. Apparently it needs a valet but frankly I was too excited to notice! |

Looks good! I've gone for black leather and anthracite wood too, wanted fine brushed aluminium really so I'm a bit nervous, having not seen that trim in the flesh. I'm sure we'll like it... Hopefully... Bloody Lines!!

I saw this exact combination in a dealership at the weekend. The anthracite is not as dark as I expected, especially when the sun hits it, but it still looked good. Personally, I think anthracite suits the beige interiors best and BMW really should give people the option to choose one of the non-wood trims. Wagz0627 had some good things to say about it here (post 23): http://www.f30post.com/forums/showth...=658362&page=2 Loving mineral grey & chromeline though! |
