Too bad it is partially electric. Not my cup of tea.

ignorance is bliss.. anyway, the old NSX is still one of my favorite cars. You really have to drive one to appreciate them. Sure there are much better values for your dollar, but they are still great cars that perform better than the numbers on paper indicate (the S2000 is like that too). AFAIK, a heavily modded NSX recently took the production car track record at buttonwillow The new one will have a traditional V6 in the back, and 2 electric motors up front that power the front wheels. From what I read, the electric motors aren't always on, and only kick in when needed for traction. Price is gonna be up there though. The old NSX went out at $80-$90k, so you know this one is going to be more than that. Still not going to be a car that everyone will want given that price though, but I'd still like to drive one |

However, it's hard to dispute that it's a timeless classic. I'll reserve judgment on this car until it's been on the road extensively. |

The very moment I'll feel it is the right time for me to buy an NSX, I'll stuff any BMW I might own at the time into the nearest garbage can, laughing happily. Driving a Honda is dream. If you ever drove one, you'd understand. Driving a BMW is just a half-assed way to kill time on the way to realizing that dream. |
