How long did it take?

Im just curious from production date till delivery at the dealer... how many weeks/months did it take you all on average? My production week is June 11th and i am anxious as heck the closer it gets.

LOL I already received my Euroswitch from crown bmw. I guess you can say I have 0.05% of my Bmw here at my house. lol

My production date was originally May 21st, but it got moved up to like May 3rd or something, and I just saw her get off the truck like 30 minutes ago...picking her up at noon tomorrow!! Not bad really. I'm in Louisiana, so Miami should take around the same time I would guess.

Ordered Feb 17th. Week 13 production (last week in March). Took delivery on May 11th. LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG wait.

I placed my "order" on 3/10/07, was given a "April slot" after which BMW reduced slot numbers to their dealers ... meaning a May slot, production for week 20, car completed on May 17th, on the vessle Frisia on May 23rd, and due into Charleston on June 7th. So it's on the water now running at 15 knots headed to first stop in Baltimore to off load Jags & Land Rovers etc and then on to Charleston for BMW off load. Hoping and really hoping for delivery to the dealer by 6/14 and pick up on 6/16 in time for Fathers Day weekend. That would be great! Being born and raised in Detroit in an automotive family, you just never loose this car thing! So to sum up my answer to your question, its been a loooooonnnnnnggg wait!

Nice.... you are getting black Sapph w saddle brown? If you are post some pics! I was thinking about changing my order. I currently have Black saspph / black leather on order =)

Obviously I'm biased, but I love the saddle!! Here are two low quality pics from my treo, it's all I had when I checked it out at drop off last night. That's my CA in the pic. I'll take better ones once I pick her up in THREE HOURS!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!

I finally got a call from CA and my car is at the dealer but its Saturday, so i have to wait till Monday 5pm....I was on the Integrity that landed in NY May 16th....After 2 long weeks at the VPC ( Because of aero kit and alarm installation) my car is ready MONDAY!!!!! YIppe Hooooray....
