Canadian Price Increase?

I was just playing around on the BMW.ca configurator for the 2012 328i, when I noticed that the car I built was over $53,000 when the same one I had previously built a week earlier was around $49,000.

Going back to the main screen, I noticed the base MSRP of the 328i was now $46,341 whereas according to a document from BMW Canada dated January 12th, the MSRP on the 328i was $43,600.

Did we just burned again to the tune of $3,000 or is this possibly just a temporary glitch in the online configurator?

Unimpressed.

i noticed that too...its just a glitch im sure because the announced the official pricing of the cars, they cant just put a different frickin amount in the configurator. Also, when you actually goto calculate the monthly payment, it uses the correct figures.

Thumbs down

Not only that but weeks ago during specials they were running on the 2011 328i xDrive they were set $39,xxx, $3,000 less than the 328i. But of coarse, that is gone. They must have been to clearing them out. You will also see that when building a 2012 328i the items that were previously packaged are now individual items you have to tack on, pushing the price will into the $54,000 range,

I am of the option that when you drop for a 6 to a 4 cylinder there should have been a noticeable price drop compared to what you would pay when you do it the other way. With BMW, this is not the case,

Over all there is quite a price increase from the 2011 to the 2012 models. Considering the performance drop, as pointed by other with some models, who could be impressed,
