PDC alarms....but I do not have that option???
What could cause the PDC alert to go off if it is not an installed option on the car? Is it part of the Premium package maybe and just not listed as an option? I am lost on this one...

Do you have four (4) round dime sized sensors in your rear bumper, same color as the car with black rubber ring around them? If so you have PDC

Yes, if you are familiar with the sensors that are mentioned. Is the front sensors round also...if so what is the square piece on the front bumper? I assumed that was a sensor.

You purchased the car used? Any chance the rear bumper was replaced with a non PDC bumper and maybe the sensors are laying "loose" behind/underneath the bumper? Just a thought.......................
PDC sensors are also round on the front bumper. Square cover on front of bumper is tow hook cover, remove it and the tow hook found in the trunk screws in for towing purposes. You have one in the rear also. If you have headlight washers, you will have a squarish shape cover on the top portion of the bumper in front of each headlight

The PDC does not show on the option list so with what I have learned tonight I can conclude that it is indeed an anomaly. Thanks for the data guys!

What makes you think that it is a PDC sensor going off rather than some other type of warning chime? Does anything come up on your dash?

The indicator lights up showing the car and the signal towards the front of the car. Happened right after the service and updates I had 3 weeks ago..

Check for the dime-sized sensors on the front and/or rear bumpers. 1) Someone might've changed up the bumper and left the sensors chillin. 2) Maybe it's really not the PDC sensor and is something else The square piece is the towhook cover and if you're talking about the two squares right under the headlights - those are headlight washer covers. Perhaps pics will help.

This occurred right after service a couple times but has since stopped. Now if I can just get the passenger side mirror to stay put....lol
