Is not having Carfax info listed suspicious?
Example:
http://m.autotrader.com/Car.aspx?id=303522908 I\'d be great if this car has a good history. Then all i would need to do to it was change the rims and lights . Can someone get its Carfax without having to pay for it for me? Opinions of the car? Thanks. |

that is true some people fix cars w/out insurance and doesn't show up. I know my mothers car was hit twice from the back and the history is clean online. Shows that you just need a PPI

If its a big corporation selling the vehicle they should provide a carfax/autocheck report. But the link you provided its a private seller and alot of private sellers are to cheap to pay for the report to post it. just saying.

I used Carfax until I bought two vehicles, one with no Carfax accident history and discovered the front end was wrecked and the other reported as frame damage when no existed.
Thus I will not buy a car or truck anylonger unless I physically inspect it myself. There are those out there that know buyers go look at Carfax and have found ways to lessen the report history as previously mentioned. If you are paying for damage to your car there is no report unless you get your insurance company or a police report is involved... |

Carfax is a good starting point, and you should definitely order one before buying the car. However, a seller not paying to have it posted on the website doesn't mean anything. And you should definitely have it inspected by a professional before purchase, in addition to the Carfax check.
