First BMW!--New to E90 Forums

Just purchased my first BMW! 2007 335i coupe, 38k miles. Upgraded from a modded Lexus SC400. Pictures below of my old car... and of my fresh soon to be modded 335i. Feels good to be a BMW owner

What are you thinking of doing to it? What's the grand vision?

welcome!!! careful with the mod bug..when it bites you, it will bite you hard...first a matte black grill, then next thing you know you're picking out a new set of rims!

i told myself i was only gonna get grill and tint...nope...im not saying my car is heavily modded but boy i never expected to spend this much lol and im not even close to being done

Welcome! Nice car, I was surprised when I saw you in the picture though. It is such a turn on to see a girl who knows a lot about cars who owns a nice car as well.

Haha... Thats usually the reaction I get. Thank you, I am really excited! This will be a HUGE learning curve for me. I knew my lexus really well, and did some of the simpler mods/maintenance myself... But I feel like a baby with my 335... lots to learn! I plan on starting out with some simple things. Smoked reflectors up front... get the windows tinted... look into some new wheels(thinking 19" VME V10's in matte black)! After I accomplish that... I would like to change the bulbs on the headlights, need a brighter blue-ish white halo. Possibly black out the grill and smoke taillights. MHhhmmm.

Nopeeeee. Ran the engine stock with the 1Jz V8. SC300 had the 2jzgte. 18" VSR machined wheels. Tein basic coil overs. Top speed catback exhaust. Vertex body kit. New paintttttttt. Loved that car. Was just time to upgrade

Honestly, I had one of the best experiences there. They were helpful, and from what I can tell... honest. They bent over backwards to work with me from 800 miles away. They specialize in out of town buyers... They have a HUGE inventory of beautiful BMW's. Their bimmers are mostly "lemon" branded california titles. I'm sure most of you on here know what that means. I can explain if needed... but basically clear title no problems. For example.. mine was bought back for the infamous HPFP recall for 2007 BMW 335i coupes. My HPFP now has a 100k/6yr warranty on just that part.. and car still has 2yrs left of CPO warranty on entire vehicle. Most cars on Donohoo's lot still have CPO warranty left for a couple years. BMW stands behind these vehicles. I would recommend checking out their inventory. They even picked me up at the airport.. brought me to my hotel... and came and got me in the morning to do the transaction.

That's one thing I do know.. haha. Was checking out car before my 800mile trip home and was looking for the spare tire... orienting myself... and couldn't find it. Made a joke out loud about "well it probably just has bullet proof run flats or something..." looked in owners manual... sure enough. hahaa
