Newer 2011/2012/2013 BMWs White Angel Eyes

I have a basic question in regards to the newer BMWs that come with the standard white angel eyes...does anyone know how they are powered? When i check the bulb guides I still get a H8 result for the angel eyes and i am sure they are not standard h8s...any clues anyone? If anyone of you have the newer BMWs have you checked under the hood to see how they are powered? Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, the rings on my 535i are lighted by LED.

LEDs. No bulb.
