Flat tire..
I was driving home Saturday night and hit a pot hole. Immediately got all the TPMS warnings (FYI, I don't have run flats). Pulled over and had low pressure, but enough to get back home. The next morning I went to give it some air to see if I could get it down to discount tire, but I couldn't get it to hold pressure.
Do you think it's just the tire, or the wheel to?

given you hit a pothole, it could very well have blown the tire and bent the rims. you have to ask the tire shop to take the tire out for inspection.

I'd say the rim was bent/cracked. Check for that. It has to have an outlet other than the tire being "gone." For it to not hold pressure, yes.

Youd have to check by taking the wheel off and exampling for bends or cracks

My wife cracked a rim this past Saturday. She has no idea what she hit. Seriously. At least she didn't damage the tire. The guy at the tire shop said he sees at least one cracked rim per week. Just last week he had a lady in a Jag crack 3 rims at the same time (guess I shouldn't complain).
Apparently our rims are easily cracked, I hope that's not the case for you. |

It could be either. I've had both happen.
I've had pothole that just had a slight enough tear to not keep pressure, and on the other hand I had a pothole that didn't deflate the tire but bent the rim. Throw in some fixaflat and get it to your tire shop. |

Got the wheel off and took it in. It was just the tire. The sidewall in the back had a crack in it.
Getting the tire off was the biggest PIA ever. The wheel and hub were corroded together and I seriously spent half a hour trying to get it to budge.

Hubs, yes. Bolts, no. You don't want to lubricate the lug bolts because that can cause over-torquing and lead to snapped bolts.
