The Bimmer is mine

A little over 3 years have gone by and now I finally own my first BMW outright. Great day to finally own the car from the steering wheel down to the bolts that keep the tires on . With only 32K miles and only a few minor warranty covered fixes it is running great. I'm still waiting on BMW to send the title but that is a small detail.

Now to decide on if I should get the extend warranty and which one.

Have to love BMW

BMW has the absolute best process to make your finally payment. We just paid off out lexus the same time of the BMW. For the BMW I got this nice step my step instruction on what to put on the certified check, how it should look like, and what I need to put on the form I sent along with the check. Lexus on the other had just a blank paper with some line and you have to figure out yourself what to put on the lines. So we went the checks at the same time, and within a couple of day I got the following:

Quote:
Thank you for your payoff payment. This payment satisfies the balance owed on your account. We have posted your payment to your 2009 BMW 335xi account as reflected below:

Payment Amount: ####
Payment Date: ####
Confirmation Code: ####

Our Title Department will begin the process to release your title documents based on your payment. If you sent certified funds, you can expect your title to be sent in 1-3 business days. If you sent non-certified funds, there will be a 15 business day hold on your title documents.

If your account was eligible for our Overnight Title Service and you included the $15.00 processing fee, please refer to the Fed-Ex e-mail for your title release tracking information.

Sincerely,

BMW Financial Services
and from Lexus a big fat nothing. The BMW account online was updated with zero balance while Lexus didn't update for another week. I just got my title yesterday about 7 days since I sent the payment and we are still waiting on Lexus.

All I can say is I'm impressed with BMW more and more the longer I own my car and to BMW. Everyone should feel every proud the own a car that the company knows what it is doing.

I have to agree with F3 there. I refinanced with my credit union after 3 months with BMW finance (I was able to knock 2.5 points off my rate so it was a no brainer), and I miss the homepage BMW put together. It was sweet.

Feels great. First thing I did was find a nice windy road and had a nice aggressive drive. I smiled ear to ear the whole time.

It took me almost 2 months to get a title for a brand new E90 sedan. I guess it depends on the state.
