Is this what they do in Cali? (Video)
Living in the East Coast my entire life, it's fair to say that the "car culture" between the 2 coasts are completely different.

A lot of jdm people here in cali like to stance their car like that. You probably don't see it often on the east coast because of the weather.
Honestly I think it's kind of stupid. They're ruining their cars. I don't mind drops or negative camber, when taken to the extreme it just looks dumb. Edit: What they hell are they competing for in the video? Who can screw up their car the most? |

its a style you guys.
not everyone can do it. people think they can all do it and for example throw a 9.5 et 22 on their rear on this forum and always post. "FLUSH" some even try to think their 10" et 20 is hella flush. its not even close.. its an expression and its not for everyone but its more of something that not everyone can do and let alone drive daily because lets be honest, some people without a drop manage to destroy their bumpers.. countless times I see threads about people pulling to close to the parking curb and destory their front bumper and they not even lowered. how is that even possible, you dont curb feel with your bumper. You do that in a truck/suv.. maybe. |

Agreed... scraping everywhere you go is retarded. It seems that everyone in Cali is just crazy about this "Stance Phase".

Oh don't worry, there are plenty of people in Cali (ME) that think it is absolutely retarded.

Its a style, culture, movement, lifestyle down here. Stance is what a lot of people down here do, justy like in the bay they have old skoolers with rims and bangin beats. And others around have track cars and styles like that. Hating on one style doesn't make you a car enthusist a true car enthusiast appriciates all types of style even if its not as appealing. I'm all for hella flush and being stanced out but to an extent. I'm not gonna sacrafice performance for style imo. Not ever car down here is stnaced flushed etc.. but a lot are. Like I said its a culture/movement/lifestyle.

I agree that flushed and stanced cars should only be for show but ppl around long beach stance theirs and race with it daily and its usually their daily drivers. People around love that style, I do as well but to an extent. I want my foot print to be a bit bigger but not like -15 degree camber. I wanna ride on tread not sidewall hahaha

It's here on the East Coast, at least down south (NC/SC/GA). Maybe not as cambered-out as the West, but they're here. Stretched tires are big (don't understand that either, but it's not for me to understand - to each his own).
I'm sure there are more, but these are the two that come to mind in this area (NC): http://www.insanestanceandoffset.com/ http://www.wrongfitmentcrew.com/
