IPL is a joke. Nothing that company makes that isn't a GTR or a base G37 appeals to me at all.

The Infiniti G is a fantastic car, more so when you consider its incredible price. You made a great choice buying one. I'm sure you will love your E60 as well.

Is it me, or does it seem like the current generation Infiniti G has been around a really long time? I am really excited to see what they come up with for the upcoming G Coupe.

Well after driving a 335i and test driving a G37 auto, the transmissions aren't even on the same level. The tranny is slow in shifts and unresponsive compared to the ZF tranny in a 335. If someone were to bribe me to buy a G37, I would go for the stick.

so much hate on infiniti's haha well it is a bmw board..

honestly, i enjoyed the car. it's not as bad as some people make it to be but i guess everyone just has their own opinions about things.

Most of the automotive press coverage I've read recommends the automatic over their manual. Personally, the fact that they don't offer AWD and a stick has been a problem for me to this point.

The G uses a non-CVT seven speed automatic that I think is manufactured by Aisin-Warner. The FX uses the same transmission, and I am pretty sure the M does as well. I am not sure about the QX or the new midsize SUV.
