'07 Z4 3.0Si Vert Exhaust Options

Hey guys, might as well kill two birds with one stone and introduce myself as well. Just joined the forums, use to drive a E46 330Ci, now I drive a 2007 Z4 3.0Si Roadster (some people might remember seeing me at E46Fanatics)

Well so took delivery of my car on Saturday and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of some possible exhaust options for my car. I've seen a few for the MCoupe MRoadster but am having a hard time finding one for my car.

So far I've seen the Remus one, the Racing Dynamics one and the Eisenmann one. However, I have been able to find videos for any of these so they are merely words on paper.

If anyone has any input on the subject please post up, TIA

Ah Brecht, they had zero selection when I was looking for my 6-speed Z4, went all the way up to Assael BMW in Monrovia to get it.

Back to the question above, anyone? =P I like the Eisenmann but cant find any vids for it.

If anyone wants to hear the Eisenmann Race or ACSchnitzer exhausts on a regular Z4 3.0i (M54), PM me your email address.

I dont think it's as simple as the parts needing to be approved or test fitted. The pre 06 Z4s used an M54 engine as opposed to the N52 engine that the new Z4s have. Also I believe the exhaust systems on the pre and post 06 Z4s is different as well. If it were as simple as just confirming it fits then companies would defniitely want to do the test fittingd so they can adjust their descriptions to fit the 06-07 as well that way they would have a larger market.

OK, so if they flow correctly and fit (meaning the manufacturers consider them approved) exactly what else would you require

Arrow

exhaust option for BMW...in order for the catalytic converter to work, there must be an adequate supply of oxygen in the exhaust gas. And in order to ensure that the exhaust contains enough oxygen, your BMW is equipped with a special BMW oxygen sensor. Located in the exhaust manifold down pipe of your car, the BMW oxygen sensor has the important task of accurately calculating the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas. After the calculations have been made, the oxygen sensor then determines whether the air in the exhaust is sufficient or not and delivers this data to the onboard computer of your BMW. The computer then uses this data to adjust the air and fuel ratio inside the engine so that the catalytic converter can work effectively.
