Please help..Broke my Tail lights
So my apartment complex has an infinite number of columns which are of course positioned in such a way as to maximize the possibility of hitting them. Anyway long story short, I backed into one the other day
Here is the damage: So as you can see, only the outer tail light cover is busted. My question is, what part number is this? Where would the cheapest place to get it from be and how much would it cost? The light itself is working fine, its just the cover that's busted. Thanks for looking and appreciate any help. |

i replaced mine recently. It was very inexpensive by BMW standards.
Jason @ BMW of silver springs can help you. Just look under vendor section or google 'em. |

That is part number 1 in the below diagram (but for the passenger side the diagram only shows drivers side). It's not very hard as long as you have a few tools, a work space, and a little bit of time. HERE is a DIY showing how to install the "black line" tails for the E92, same process just different tail lamps going in.
If you'd like to switch over to a different style tail lamp as stated this could be a "blessing in disguise". I have several Euro and LED options for your car available HERE if you're interested in changing up the rear end. ECS Tuning |

Get the LCI tails, or buy used pre-lci from the forum classifieds. I just put my LCI tails in a week ago, they do wonders for the rear.

im not sure if its possible for you, but on my 2011 E92, id love for someone to smash in my tail lights because id love to replace with them with the Euro Spec ones with the yellow LED signal flashers. i believe its plug and play on LCI cars...

If I have the LCI tails already would the Euro versions be just plug-n-play? I wouldn't think different colored LED's would require any coding since my car is already LCI coded.

I don't see why it wouldn't be plug in play if you had the US LCI's already in and coded. I am kind of wishing I went with amber now, anyone in Europe want to swap your ambers for my reds?
