Old has a little meaner, more raw look that I have noticed now that I have owned both. The newer is a little more "plush" but it still retains a classy aggressiveness.

New ones for me. Look more modern and in-line with the rest of the BMW line-up.

ive seen both side by side in the lot and the older look more aggressive, especially with msport body kit. newer lights look more modern and upscale, plus the new led angel eyes are awesome.

the lci e92 headlights would look so much cleaner if it wasnt for that "dip" under the signal area... it kinda looks like droopy eyes. the f10 is similar but the line doesnt look like it drops down like the lci e92. i dunno how to exactly explain it in words but i see it. lol

I would like to stuff the LCI headlight internals into the pre-LCI headlight enclosure. Best of both worlds. This might be a little project after the prices of those headlights come down. It's currently at around 400 bucks on ebay. But as far as the shape of the LCI front goes, it looks like the pre-LCI's retarded twin. Most would over look that fact because they are hypnotized by the LED AE's including myself.

Yes, I do think the pre-LCI headlights are more aggressive.

My opinion pretty much lines up with what seems like the majority.
Pre-LCI: Better housing shape LCI: Better AE's ...either one is better than the e90 headlights, imo. |

Hahah, touché yakev
It pains me to see my one-eyed car staring at me every morning when I walk into the garage. I need to get off my butt, finish working on everything and get her back together before I go crazy from driving my boring winter car around all the time. I definitely agree with the oss + lci tails being perfect too. |

pre-LCI headlights look great with LED or OSS angle eyes and LED cree amber blinkers (to get rid of the orange yolk)
The angel eyes in the LCI look too purple in real life. The first few times I saw the new BMW LED angel eyes (in the X3, then the E92) I thought it was some ricey aftermarket HID angel eyes..... |
