leak? where is the leak from?
My LOW washer fluid warning has been on frequently in the past few months, and i've been adding washer fluids once every maybe 1.5 to 2 months. Upon looking closely I noticed a SLOW leak on the PASS side, just underneath the Right fender and the beginning of the sideskirt. It is odorless and from the looks of it, it has to be washer fluid. As I said it's a slow leak somewhere.
I checked the engine area and didn't see anything. Is this a known problem for 2006 year? Based on my description, where is it originating from? Is it hard to fix? If it's too expensive to fix, Im just going to keep pouring in a gallon every 2 months when the LOW fld warning comes on. thanks |

You can check the tank to see what's going on.
Here's a similar DIY: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=558259 |

Both of my headlight washer nozzles leaked in the area you're describing and I replaced them myself on my 06 e90. Not expensive if you DIY it. Maybe $40 each for the nozzles from Tischer.

oh, forget to mention, i don't have headlight washers. so where could this leak be?
I could see a washer fluid trail coming from near the bottom of the R.fender/, slowly to the ground. |

Same issue with me...took it to a shop nearby (cambertoe) and matt found the problem right away...the part costs about 2 bucks and yea i said 2 bucks. However the dealership originally "fixed" this issue but taping it up and zip tying it i swear to you...im done with dealerships lol
