Angry Waiting for vassel for 11 days and counting....

My car is "at the port waiting for a shipping vassel" since October 15th.... why is it taking so long? Does anyone has similar experience? How many days did your car spent waiting for the damn vassel? The wait is really killing me !!

where are you getting the status from ? 800 and web are off-sync
and both late. Call your delaler. He can tell you the ship it is scheduled
to depart on,

If the wait doesn't kill you first, I bet it's going to feel pretty damn good to get out of your 93 Civic and into your BMW 330i.

Mine was waiting for just over a week. The website is more behind than the 800#. Agreed..call your dealer if you really want to know....but I would take a deep breath...its still some time before it gets to you.

Sorry to tell you...but it takes a good 4weeks for the car to make the ride on the boat to CA, then VPC, then to your dealer.

Its a long wait...worth it, but painful.

I get the status from the 800 number. However, my dealer just called me today and tell me the same thing.

I bought it two years ago when I first started graduate school. Best $2000 I had ever spent. She took me to grocery, job interviews, parties -- not to mention the 1000+ miles trip when my parents visited me during my graduation. Put on about 10,000 miles in two years, never took it for service, only had to change the front tires ($200+ @ Costco), and CV join ($230+ @ Sears) about a month ago. I really have to tip my hat to the Honda people, they make really reliable cars.

Although I am moving on to something better, but I am still very thankful for this car.

I ordered mine from Fremont. I am not very sure about the rule of car business...is it ethical for me to disclose the price here? Personally I don't mind...

I had a similar experience. The salesman called me on 10/13 to tell me the vehicle was being loaded onto a vessel. OC didn't change to "en route" status until 10/24. I called the salesman last week and he said it was due at the port (USA) on 10/29. OC of course still says it is "en route".

My 325i in Mystic Blue is on the Kassel; which my Mom assures me is pronounced "castle." (English teachers :-p )

It left Brem. on the 27th, or at least that's what I was told.

Still waiting at the port here also. Been there since the 24th. Looks like the next ship to the east coast will leave tomorrow but it is a K- line ship and not sure is BMW will use it. WW keeps changing the departure dates for their ships. The Undine was to leave on the 1st but now is not leaving until the 4th. Patience is the word I guess.
