has anyone heard how these component speakers sound?

They sound awesome. I would suggest finding an authorized dealer with a demo vehicle set up and audition a set for yourself.

I did but they only had them in a showroom, not a vehicle. Plan on installing them next week with a JL sub and 450 amp. Thanks for your reply...go gators!

You will like the way your system sounds, the install is the key to success though. Enjoy the music.

i have them on my e34 with 1650 watts...they sound great...but i am sooo happy with my logic 7...even my buddies say it sounds better than my 5k stereo setup by the midwest alpine installer specialist....so he knows his stuff... i love my xr but i only have the 5.25...but they are still great...he said if i wouldn't see muxh benefit in the next series cause it was a car...if it was an suv i would have gotten the next level up. i have a jl 45-0 and a jl 1000 mono for my 10w7... you will love em...i just wish i had the hit from my 10 w7...but i am loving the trunk space now in my 335 without the 2 amps and the 10w7!!!!!
