Deer=1 BMW=0

Driving home from work about 1hr ago and all of a sudden I hear a massive
"thud" and look in my rear view mirror to see a deer flipping over my car. I slam on the brakes and turn around to see the deer getting up and running into the woods. I will post some pictures tomorrow as the ones I took tonight are not very good. From what I can see its going to need a rear quarter, bumper, tail light and possibly a rear door... Worst part about the entire thing is that the car was to be picked up on friday because it was pretty much sold... Could have been much worse but I'm glad me and my passenger where okay.

Wish the deer would have died so I at least could have gotten something out of it

hahahah I love the title. Man that sucks though about the car. Take some picks so we can see. Also this is kinda funny since someone posted recently if people would swerve to avoid hitting and animal.

The only thing I like about rednecks is that they kill deers. I'm glad no one got hurt and I hope that deer suffered a fatal injury.

Sounds like you think it had a scope on its antlers fixed on OP’s BMW? Based on his description of the damages the deer will likely die in the woods. Next time you’re on a flight take a look out the window to get an idea how we’re encroaching on their environment.

OP too bad about your car, shit happens. Glad no humans were hurt.

When you notify your insurance, make sure you state that the dear ran into you, not "I hit a deer."

Deers are doing very well thanks to us getting rid of their natural predators. In many parts of the country, there are simply just too many of them. Their numbers are controlled largely by hunting at this point. People get into serious accidents regularly due to deers. I'm not saying we should exterminate them, but their current population is rather unnatural.

Ya Ive Heard this by many people. But Most of it is our fault since we killed off everything that kills them. Now Their Natural Predator have headlights and guns.

Here is a local story of a lady that hit an already dead 200 Lb buck with her honda fit and dragged it all the way home with it stuck under her car.

No, the car hit the side of the deer and it flipped the car from the impact with the deer.
