Arrow June TWR Drive - String of Pearls - 24 June

As usual, we're meeting at 10am and leaving at 11am.

http://www.the-winding-road.com/modu...ent.php?eid=19

I know the 1st anniversary is the Paper anniversary, but I couldn't think up a good sounding name for the drive that included paper.

For June we're returning to the drive that started it all. The String of Pearls, aka Whidbey Island. It's hard to believe we've been at this for a year (granted, under another guise to start), but we have.

Special Thanks to 05TiGr8Lady for the pre-lunch portion of the drive. This was a great way to get onto the island, so mess with it.

Overview map is up, directions are finished. As of right now there are 5 cars registered, and don't think any of them are BMWs. You know you want to join us.

1 week to go. The Route Flip Charts are almost ready to go to press, so if you want one, please register sooner rather than later. I used Kinko's in April, but that was pricey, so I really need to use a proper printing press this time around, which means lead time. I'll have a couple extra copies.

Of course, whether you register or not, you're welcome to come. Just remember, once the registered drivers get their Route Books, it's first come first served.

Last chance to register. Online registration closes at 10:00 tomorrow morning. It's not necessary to register, but it does help.

and a BMW, and VW, and Ferrari. We've had Pontiacs, Chevy's, Subarus, Mitsubishis, Nissans, and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some.

It's an everyone is welcome kind of drive 6-speed. Not a Mazda's only thing.

Good group to head out with as well... RX-8 drivers lack a lot of the bullshit attitude and arrogance that a lot of other sports/sporty car owners have... Good Stuff.

Yup, what he said. In fact, my next new car will probably have a reciprocating engine. I'm thinking something with a big American V-8 (sorry guys). Either that or a little British car with a Japanese Inline 4.

Everyone is welcome to come out and play.
