Did I get a good deal?

Just bought my first BMW two days ago. I have always wanted a BMW and upgraded from a Honda. I bought a 2008 335i. Car has everything but Sport Package, Navigation, and Ipod adapter. It is a manual and only has 14,700 miles on it. I paid $30,500 for the car and was wondering if this was a good deal? I will try and post pics later of my new toy!

Sounds good! That would be £30,500 here

low miles sounds for $30k is pretty good... as long as there hasn't been any kind of significant engine repairs your deal should prove fruitful. You take a good look at the car's history and carfax?

It depends on what packages/options were available for the 2008 335. No sport package, navigation and iPod. What other packages were available or what do you have? 30k+ for a 2008 is alright but I think you could've found better? Is it CPO?

Seems like you should have been able to get it fully loaded for that price.
Coupe? Color?

If you felt you got a good deal, then you did. Some will say it was a good deal, others will say no it's not. My wife's cousin bought a 2k8 335xi coupe CPO for about 25k, less than your price. He has 44k on it, who knows if 5.5k less but 30k more miles is worth it, both CPO? That's up to the individual.

This is so true. There is always some money on the table, so long as you feel you got a fair deal, then you're good. Normally you get taken one or two times when you know you got screwed, but then you learn.

Unfortunately for most (mee too ) BMW's trigger some emotional enthusiasm - much more than most cars.

OP:
Even if you did get screwed till your eyeballs popped out, (and I'm not saying you did) what difference would it make? You already bought the car so just enjoy what you have.

To answer some of the questions. It is a black coupe. It came with the cold weather package and premium package. The car fax history came back perfect for this car. For the price of 30,500 this also include the original waranty until 40,000/4 years, but also included an additional bumper to bumper warranty until 125,000 miles or 6 years from purchase date which I think was a huge selling point since I bought the car with 14,700 miles on odometer. I am very pleased with my buy and finally gald to say I am part of the BMW family. I absolutely love this car!

14,000 miles? That' basically a brand new car that you got for 25% off. If garage kept over the last 4 years it should run like new and all the parts should be almost as good as new.

That is a great price.

For reference, I bought an e90 325i in 2007, with every single option at the time, metallic exterior, terra interior, for 17k out the door. This was nearly 4 years ago, and I have not had any problems knock on wood. I did recently get into an accident however, and my car will be in my hands in about 2 weeks . It had 30k miles and had a clean title.
