Anybody have a room dedicated to BMW?
Hey guys. I convinced my wife that it's a good idea to design a nursery room for our first child (boy) in all things BMW. Now she's more excited about the idea than me.
I just want some ideas or examples on things I can add or use for the room. I know there a couple of things that BMWUSA sells but if you have examples or something I would appreciate it! Thanks and I hope you all have a happy new year.

At my dealership they have a huge mural of an m3 on the wall, maybe 8' x 8' or so. That would be tight! lot of picture frames to fill spaces with pictures of the cars in. Perhaps a racing helmet or something? Model cars. Get creative, think arts and crafts.

I dont think it would be a good idea unless you have an altar and always burn incense....
[/sarcasm] Now if you really want to make it tasteful put historical pictures of BMW developments around the room. I believe the company began building aircraft engines during the First World War -- so this would be an appropriate picture somewhere unless you can come up with an actual sample engine

A lot of people do -- but most call it the "garage".

Think bigger! Naming a child after some BMW part is a much better idea: it is pretty much as brain-dead as having a BMW-themed nursery room, yet it will show a much greater amount of dedication and will literally last a lifetime.
(I remember there was a story a few years ago when parents names their child after some tire product. I don't remember what it was exactly, but I think it was a lot worse than "Michelin") Last edited by AndreyT; 01-01-2012 at 11:44 PM.. |

Wait, you want to dedicate the first room of your new born baby to some company that makes transportation devices? Ummm.... ok....
What I really can't believe is that your wife is on board with this. You have an extremely supportive wife. Methinks you'll have some explaining to do once your child gets old enough to figure out something's amiss in all of his baby pictures taken in that room. |
