Question, Can a 2012 3 Series without Sirius XM on it be added later?
Hey guys so I found a perfect 2012 3 series at a dealership but it does not have the Satellite radio with 1 year subscription package on it. I was just curious, is the technology in the car already to make Sirius radio work but I just have to activate it? Or will I never be able to obtain it because it is missing hardware?
Thank you! |

The car will be prewired...but you'll be missing the Sirius Module that goes into the trunk. If possible...try to haggle with them to install now as it's much cheaper than doing it later. My car has everything except two things: Navi (didn't want it) and Sat Radio (I WANT SO FUCKING BAD). I'm looking around trying to find a Sirius Module and do it myself (coding included) as the dealership wants $800+ for it... Get it done right the first time... |
