Bad luck BMW

Laughing about these situations helps me get through it, but I purchased my 328i about a month ago. Second day I had it I hit a deer, whatever things happen. Got it back from the body shop last week and couldn\'t be happier it looked good as new.

Now it gets a little worse, yesterday while visiting my dad who has been going through cancer treatments, we had a great day going to the local shooting range and spending time together. We decide to drive over the border into Tennessee to check out some shops. They had just built a Bass Pro Shop there and he had never been to one so I took him there to check it out. The day was great and we headed home. Then I woke up this morning and noticed some jackass had backed into my car last night at some point. It\'s not awful but you can see where it scuffed the paint, cracked it, and chipped a few prices off.

What really gets me was no note was left (surprise) and I parked in the back of the lot on purpose to prevent something like this from happening. Another reminder that it\'s hard to find good honest people who do the right thing. I was pretty irate when I discovered the damage today, but I\'ve calmed down because its done and over what can I really do about it now?

I\'ll add a picture later when I get onto a PC.

i had my car only a day and some ass backed his trailer hitch into my trunk (lifted truck)... i've had that same stupid dent forever now and can't be popped out with PDR... this happened at work and haven't seen any lifted vehicle anywhere in the parking lot... it's like some guy from across town came out of his way to back up into my car and left to never return... (it's the only humor i can find in this situation)

Well glad to know I'm not alone. Ha I've justified it by hoping the asshat that hit me will some day have their car backed into and not have a note left. Wishful thinking I suppose right?

At least you've calmed down and realized that shit happens. Take care of your dad.

Sorry to hear about your dad. I've lost many people in my life to cancer.

As far as the car. You have to shrug things off sometimes man. I am constantly touching this up and fixing that and respraying my bumper, fixing door dings.... and they just keep on coming back. Getting close to giving up...

Thanks for the well wishes for my dad, he's a fighter. All we can do is hope everything works out okay and I try to be there for him the best I can. He's a car nut himself, so I got him into the drivers seat of the 328i and we tore up some back roads. I could tell he was enjoying himself especially after he threw it into sport mode, and on top of that it was his first experience behind the wheel of a BMW. It was definitely an experience I'll remember forever.

Sometimes people just don't respect your property...it is sad. I was at a training class last year and the organizer reserved about 20 parking places in the nearby lot for attendees. During the week a classmate put a huge door-ding in my previously pristine 335...most people had rentals, and of course no note, nor wood anyone in the class of ~30 people admit to doing it...ugh. I feel your pain, but what can you do?

Prayers for your Dad anyway...
