'08 E92 Parrot MKI9x install - disconnect battery?

I'm about to install the bluetooth MKI9000 in my e92. Could anyone tell me if i need to disconnect the battery as i'll be disconnecting the radio and aircon controls?

Thanks!

You dont HAVE to but since youre going to be installing an electronic maybe you could be safer than sorry?

Its not too much work anyway. All you have to do is loosen the 10mm hex head nut on the megative terminal and wiggle the cable up and off the battery. Then tuck it away somewhere
