Pulled the trigger on a 328xi
I was considering waiting for the F30 but the more I thought about it the less I liked the idea of the engine options. So I started looking around and found that there are some pretty good deals on the 2011 328xi Executive models. Bottom line, I pulled the trigger yesterday on one with the premium sound package and just love this car.
Traded in my 09 323i, which was a decent enough car, to move up to this model and with all the extras and it was a no brainer. Tons of bells and whistles for sure. Here are a few pics of my new ride.

Hey, thanks for the kinds words guys. Just finished installing the interior LED light kit I received from one of the vendors here. Looks awesome, well worth the money. I am going be installing the OEM alarm system w/shock sensor soon, probably not until after Christmas. Lots to play with, and, lots to learn.

Hey matrix - I just did the same thing - got a 328xi Exec from Auto West in Richmond. Picked it up yesterday - traded in the X1 I bought 6 weeks ago which I hated.. great new 4 cyl engine performance - but none of the quiet ride and comfort we have come to enjoy from a 3 Series. I previously had a 328xi which I traded in for the X1

I changed out the stock AE H8's with GP Thunder 8500's, I had a pair I removed from my 323 before I traded it in. This is temporary, I have ordered a set of RD's for the final fit. The RD's are not the brightest leds, just going for a clean white look. I'll post pics later.
These are the GP's head on, and it is a cloudy day. What is also nice about this car is the AE's, as DRL, are standard, no coding required,

Awesome car dude, I hope you enjoy every second of it.
I too just picked up my new baby, a 2008 335i vert. It's nice when they come fully loaded! |

I just picked up the same car yesterday. Had originally test drove this summer, but wasn't ready to commit as I wanted to see what the F30s would look like. While I do like the redesign, I wasn't willing to wait until next fall for an xDrive model that would arrive to a huge wait list with no incentives so I picked up the 328xi and am as happy as could be as this is my first BMW. Drove nearly 150 miles yesterday and loved every minute of it.
