WTB 07+ 335 hardtop vert, have 2003 Sonic Blue Cobra vert and cash
Looking to get back into a 3 series so I'm posting up a very hard to find car (hard to find not abused and with low miles) that is a national show winner (NMRA 2008 People's Choice Best of Show, Top 20, and 2nd Place Best Paint) and a website spotlight car (CCW wheels). The only 3 series I'm looking for is a 07+ 335i hardtop convertible, bright red or montego blue, automatic, sport package, nav system, and under 30k miles. I love BMW's in general but that's the only model I will be interested in a trade for. The car is the one and only "terminator" cobra, factory supercharged and underrated at 390hp. This is has been mildly modified but only with the best of the best parts. Dyno sheets show 463.4 rwhp and 504.1 rwtq on a Superflo Dyno (calculates to 490.1/533.0 on a Dynojet). All new pulley system including a 2.75 Reichard Racing s/c pulley and fully polished Metco idlers. Underneath sit Hans Racecraft subframes and a Borla Stinger/Bassani catted X pipe exhaust system. The brakes have been upgraded to drilled rotors with EBC "Red Stuff" brake pads. Other mods include an MGW orange handle shifter, carbon fiber dash kit, Kenny Brown lowering springs, and a Steeda CAI. The car will come with an Xcal 3 loaded with the current dyno tune completed Dec 1. It also has a brand new set of CCW SP16a wheels (18x9.5 front and 18x11 rear) shod in new Michelin Pilot Sport (335-30-18 rear, 275-35-18 front) tires. The set has less than 200 miles. It is a rare Sonic Blue (355 made in 2003 only), one of the most coveted colors for the 03-04 Cobra. It's nearly flawless with only a few tiny rock chips, but I'm pretty anal so I've noticed all 4 of them. Title is clean, car has never been in an accident. You are welcome to run a carfax or autocheck, email me for the VIN. Why am I selling? Because I want to get back to one car I can drive daily and in comfort. I am selling my DD, which is a 98 Mercedes C230 and I want one insurance payment only. I never drive the cobra, which is evident by the 10100 miles currently on the odometer. After owning a 325ci, an 01 M3 and a 330ci, the 335 vert is my next choice. The car isn't for everyone as it is truly a beast. The torque level alone will paste you into the seat at an incredible force. If you have ever ridden in one of these, you know what I am describing isn't fluff. If you have read stories about the terminator, it's all true. I have sold a few cars on various BMW sites such as the M3 forum and E46fanatics as well. Also sold two previous mustangs on svtperformance.com. I'm sure the buyers will emphatically recommend me for the quality of the vehicles I've sold them. I also have a +345 on Ebay under coolcobramatt. My price is $27,000 as it sits, and as I mentioned above it comes with the new CCW's and the Xcal3 tuner. The buyer will not be disappointed. If you have the 335i hardtop vert I'm looking for, email me at matthewmartin@juno.com. I will add money for the right vehicle. I ask that your car be as mint as mine though. No previous accidents or maintenance nightmares. I am an honest seller and ask the same in return. Please note the pics are in bright sunlight and were taken with a standard digital camera. The color really pops at dusk, these pictures do not do the car justice. (before pulley install and new CAI) |
