Need Quick Advice on Price
Hey everyone,
I'm sure everyone around here hates these type of questions, but I was hoping to get some quick advice on price, as I've been poking around for quite a while. I'm looking at a black/black 2009 328i sedan with navigation. The car has 38,000 miles and the dealer is asking $27k+, but they've indicated they'll sell for slightly less than $26k. This is not a BMW dealership, so it's not CPO, but I'd likely take it to the local BMW dealership for the extended warranty. Any quick advice/thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Last edited by as225103; 12-20-2011 at 09:44 PM.. |

I'd say that seems a bit much. I bought my 08 328i coupe with 20k miles for $29000. This was at a dealer so it was a CPO, covered till 2014 and it also had free maintenance remaining for an additional year till 2012. They also threw in free brand new mats

options besides navigation?
would think you could find one comparable with CPO for that kind of money. For comparison, try BMW North America web site, click Certified Pre Owned, click model search, fill in the blanks. www.bmwusa.com

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. It doesn't have sport or premium packages. Considering it's a 2009, I'd prefer it to have slightly fewer miles since it's not CPO...

Sorry, one other thing. The carfax listed the previous owner as "commercial". Would you guys stay away from that? I assume that means it was either an executive car (probably ok) or a rental (not good).

probably a lease return but if it doesn't have sport OR premium I think the price is kind of high especially with it not being CPO'd. Vinyl seats, manual seats, no bluetooth i'd look a big longer or further.

I take it back...It has all that stuff. It wasn't listed as a registered leased vehicle, or a personal vehicle. It just says commercial, which the more I think about it probably means it was a loaner car. . Considering it's not CPO'd, the car fax is only showing 2 oil changes in the first 38,000 miles. I'm leaning on heading back to the drawing board.
