what is this ?

Anyone know what this is/does? Should I be concerned it isn't "plugged into" anything? Found this near the battery area, notice how it's connected to a main bundle of other wires..... Thanks in advance for your suggestions.....

I believe that is for when your car was transported. It isn't supposed to be plugged in to anything.

good search skillz bra, that's so right on!
So it's not meant to be plugged is what I'm hearing. I'm not going to worry about it, maybe I'll ask my SA next time at the shop (stupid front passenger door lock actuator may need replacing, i've changed the fuses, no luck)...anyhoo, thanks again!

I was wondering the same thing when I replaced my battery, turns out its used for transportation when they ship the car from the manufacturer's location.
