Whats the difference between LCI and Pre LCI

Can someone Help me out? What are the differences between LCI and pre lci? Ive been trying to research it but i cant any side by side shots to see the difference? ANd what years are the pre lci? BTW Im pretty new to bmw's so sorry for the stupid question.

try searching for Life Cycle Impulse--what that means? i dont know lol.
but to answer your question.
for e90:
pre-lci - models 2006 -2008
lci - models 2009-2011
not sure what years for e92

e90 lci looks "fresher"
such as: tail lights, hood, front/rear bumper, sidemirrors.

theres been thread about this subject. maybe mods should find that thread and put it on stickies

I noticed the LCI M3s are not equipped with those fancy bright-blue angels, like the LCI 3 series coupes have, any idea why?

Also Someone dinged my Fender today and was wondering If the M3 fenders fit my car since I like them quite a bit.

Don't forget the car is literally longer.
M3 side skirts don't fit. Pre-LCI hoods are too short too.

Op sounds like u have a lot to learn...advice from someone who fell victim to this...don't jump into modding right away...spend time reading first...there's a lot of knowledge on here you'll save yourself a lot of headaches, and welcome btw

Yep That's What I am doing. Before i buy anything for the body Im going to try to read all i can. Thanks for all the imput guys.
