Any changes from '06 to '06 M Roadster?

I have been offered a great deal on a brand new '06 M Roadster but just want to see if any changes were made to the '07 that would maybe sway me from buying an '06

any feedback is appreciated

With the '06, you don't get:
1) phono jack
2) upgraded Tire Pressure Monitors (you get the original ABS-style TPMs)
3) 4 years of BMW Assist (only 1 year for '06)
If it's that great a deal, go for it! Just make sure your Destination charge is not more than $695, and make sure they throw in carmats (preferrably ///M mats)

Are you really ready to part with your beautiful, Phoenix Yellow M3? (or are you keeping it too?)

If you're planning to change to aftermarket rims, the '06 will save you a lot of trouble & money. With an '07 you'd need to spend an extra $200~400 because of the new tire pressure monitoring system.

Yeah, why are the individual tire pressure monitors considered an "upgrade" from the original ABS system? Just seems like a PITA to me.

It's an "upgrade" because you don't have it!

You're right, though... it's a PITA. You'd think that an "upgrade" would mean that the computer could track each individual pressure and display it on screen.

Rick Hunter's ideal upgrade package:

- must press unlock key on fob 10 times to unlock doors
- automatic headlights upgraded to no automatic headlights
- power windows upgraded to pushing them up and down with your bare hands
- styrofoam-covered steering wheel
- upgrade from ABS to you just having to press on and off the brakes as fast as you frickin' can
- upgrade from A/C to premium fold-out hand fan (with BMW insignia embossed into bamboo handle)

Total cost: $1,700 (DA fee included)

Yup, I was playin' around too

Either way... whether it's an '05 or an '07, this car makes you feel like a kid. So, lvwirelessguy, just do it.
