Air Blower not working - frozen?
After a night out in the cold (-15), the blower / defroster on my 2006 E90 wouldn't work. I tried popping the fuses etc but nothing worked. I managed to get the window defrosted enough to drive the car. After it warmed up, the blower started working again, leading me to believe that water may have made it inside the motor area and froze the blower. Anyone have a similar experience? I read about a problem with the windshield cowl on 2006 E90 but I have had my windshield replaced so I would be surprised if it would be that. Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, body shop washed my car then it was parked outside in -20c for a few hours before i picked it up. Once i got it home and parked inside (where its always parked) it thawed and has been normal ever since.

Your windshield cowl is leaking or pulling away, and letting water into the car.. you need to get this fixed before more stuff gets water it it..
