I just bought one, will let you know. I think a few forum members have used this before, and have said it drones. If this ends up being too much for me, I'm planning on removing the rear mufflers, and putting my stock ones on, all connected to the catback pieces and front resonator from Magnaflow... we'll see what happens.

I purchased this exhaust from a member on the forum also. I was surprised w the sound at start up. Made me grin from ear to ear. Although there is quite the amount of drone from about 2-3500k rpms and I mean alot compared to stock, it's makin the car breathe better from what I feel. I'm most likely gonna add the vibrant resonator in place of the mangaflow one. It's slightly unbearable after a while when you're used to the oem mufflers.
Sorry don't mean to thread jack. Did anyone running this system replace the res w something else to rid the drone and were completely satisfied afterwards? I guess it doesn't matter if you spend thousands or hundreds on these systems available, they're all gonna drone somewhat.

Sorry for the late reply; I ended up taking them off because my wife hated the sound... it's too bad, as they're awesome. Sold them to another forum member here who loves them: smashhell; he took a video of the exhaust and gave his impression, but I can't find the link. PM him.

Hey lakerholic,
Yeah I love the exhaust. I have to thank you again for selling them to me. I took 2 videos of it. You can check them out here: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6603722

Does anyone know if I install only muffler, not a full exhasut, will there still be droning? and how will the sound change?
Also, will I have problems with warranty? And if anyone is selling it, please let me know |

Thats probably the way im gonna go if i cant get the fitting issues straightened out in the next week or two. Ill try just hooking up the muffler sections to the stock pipes and resonator.

Finally got the exhaust system straightened out properly. No more clanking and rattling. Now i can enjoy the loads of drone between 2-3k rpms!!!
Im probably gonna swap out the res for something a little quieter soon.
